Pahiyas Festival is celebrated in the small town of Lucban,
Quezon Province every 15th of May. This is to commemorate San Isidro
Labrador for a bountiful harvest - the patron saint of farmers, peasants and laborer. Derived from "Hiyas" which means jewel and "payas" which means to decorate. The local show their gratitude by decorating
their houses with colourful kipings, fruits and vegetables and craftworks.
